We drove our Zoe to Kalundborg and took the 12:20 to Ballen. Our lodging was a nice hut in the garden of a town house, close to Ballen harbour. Notice two very contrasting cars parked outside! In the evening, we walked south of Ballen, seeing an observatory and the ferry harbour from the distance.
